The power of our senses lead us in so many ways. The touch of a heart, the sound of our loved ones voice, the touch of a loved ones hand, the seeing and experiencing of an inspirational moment, the scent of a place or time or moment well engrained in our soul.
We are often led by our busyness, we buzz right through our day, perhaps not even pausing to embrace these senses, these sights, sounds, smells, touch, intuitiveness, and the taste that accompanies all of such a life.
When I buzz through my day, my heart feels disconnected. How did I get there? Is it a defined goal or destination, is it directed, led and defined by "success"? Could it be the pull and push of this very sense of inner incompleteness is due to this very busy life, giving and feeding the machine of the never ending " Should System" ?
When working with those close to the end of their life, most, if not all, focus, share, and reflect on their relationships and those times and those experiences that include all our senses. That is the color of life.
Today I will honor and embrace the lessons from those that have gone before me, or have lived on the edge of life and death! I will celebrate life's colors and be present with all it offers. The taste, smell, touch, sound, and all that I can see. My intuitive calling is to live present and live this life in TODAY!
